Ce problème fait qu'il peut devenir aggressif pour un oui ou un non. Cette excès de violence l'a conduit à détruire à l'aide d'un pied de biche la voiture de son coach et ainsi se faire virer du lycée. Dans son nouveau lycée, Liam à rencontrer de nombreuses personnes dont Scott McCall qui, par une suite d'évènements, à sauvé la vie de Liam au pris de sa transformation en loup-garous.∞
